OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our Financial Markets Network Engineering team. This role supports realtime trading and market data connectivity across highly available global networks. The position provides strong exposure to routing, switching, multicast, automation, and packetlevel troubleshooting in production trading environments.Responsibilities


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support add/move/change (MAC) activities across production financialmarkets networks

  • Configure and troubleshoot Layer2 and Layer3 network services

  • Assist with BGP, OSPF, and ISIS routing changes and troubleshooting

  • Support NAT configuration and fault isolation (static and dynamic NAT)

  • Assist with IP multicast (IGMP, PIM) used for market data distribution

  • Perform packet capture and traffic analysis (tcpdump, Wireshark or equivalent)

  • Assist with Layer1 troubleshooting including physical connectivity and latencysensitive paths

  • Follow disciplined change, documentation, and operational processes

  • Work with senior engineers on automationenabled configuration and validation

  • For this role, we anticipate paying $90,000K-$100,000K annually. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. NETDEVOPS & AUTOMATION

  • Exposure to networkascode practices using structured data (JSON/YAML)

  • Assist with templated configuration and automation workflows (e.g., Jinja2, Ansible)

  • Follow Gitbased version control and peerreview workflows for network changes

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience supporting global IP networks

  • Handson experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista platforms

  • Strong Layer2 knowledge (VLANs, trunking, STP, LACP)

  • Strong Layer3 fundamentals (BGP basics, OSPF/ISIS concepts)

  • NAT fundamentals and troubleshooting experience

  • Multicast fundamentals (IGMP, PIM)

  • Packet capture and analysis skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


CERTIFICATIONS

  • CCNA or CCNP

  • NCIA or JNCIP
