Job Summary:
InterSources Inc. is a Small, Woman, and Minority-Owned Business Enterprise with over 18 years of experience in IT Consulting Services. They are seeking an experienced Network Engineer Consultant responsible for managing enterprise infrastructure, ensuring security compliance, and supporting network and server operations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and support SCCM/MECM, Intune, and MDM environments
• Administer and maintain Windows Server (2019/2022/2025) and Windows 11 systems
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, servers, and security systems
• Perform system installations, configurations, upgrades, and maintenance
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues
• Support disaster recovery and failover strategies
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting
• Work with MS SQL, clustering, and .NET-based applications
• Implement and manage Active Directory permissions and RBAC models
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct root cause analysis and system optimization
• Collaborate with WAN teams and other infrastructure groups
• Communicate effectively with technical teams and leadership
• Provide documentation including design documents, SOPs, and user guides
• Lead small projects and mentor junior team members
• Manage multiple priorities and provide status updates
• Coordinate with vendors and oversee external support activities
• Maintain high-quality support via ticketing systems and service levels
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SCCM/MECM and Intune/MDM
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft GCC High Tenant
• 5+ years of experience with Pub1075 compliance, audits, or implementations
• 5+ years of experience in Change Management
• 3+ years of experience with Active Directory (RBAC & user access control)
• 5+ years of experience with LAN and VLAN networking
• 5+ years of experience with VMware virtualization
• Experience working directly with a State or Government Agency
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field OR Associate degree with 4+ years of experience OR High School Diploma with 6+ years of relevant experience
Preferred:
• Experience with STIG Hardening
• Knowledge of Hybrid Cloud Architecture
• Experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure
• Strong Shell / PowerShell scripting
