That's why we need a network engineer like you who knows how to craft the exact network the U.S. Army needs. As a network engineer on our team, you'll help the U.S. Army build and maintain a reliable network to support critical training missions. You'll work with soldiers, other SMEs, and users to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape network requirements. You'll then plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you'll put your hardware and sof tware talents to good use. This is your chance to grow your skills in network design, maintenance, and administration while continuing to grow your network engineering experience . You Have: * Experience researching and recommending network and server hardware and sof tware for large complex networks, developing, maintaining, and implementing network support, and archiving procedures
* Experience installing, designing, configuring, and maintaining system hardware and sof tware
* Experience implementing and managing network policies , procedures, and standards, and enforcing security procedures
* Experience monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating hardware, sof tware, and network problems
* Ability to meet with clients to plan, analyze, design, and test computer applications to ensure computer sof tware and applications adhere to the organizational plan
* Ability to work weekends, holidays, and up to 12 hours a day outside of normal work hours
* Secret clearance
* HS diploma or GED
* Security+, CCNP, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP Certification Nice If You Have: * Experience administering accounts, creating organizational units, mapping users and computers, and assisting with creating or managing group policies within Active Directory
* Experience configuring, managing, and maintaining virtual servers, networks, and connected clients using VMware vSphere
* Experience using and configuring Cisco switches
* Experience with set up, networking, troubleshooting, and use of Army Mission Command Information Systems
