Network Administrator


The Network Administrator works full-time at our offices in Mission, KS, as part of a team that provides professional managed I.T. services to IDEOLITY clients. On-site client interactions are scheduled as needed.

The compensation offered will be based upon IDEOLITY's assessment of a candidate's overall ability to add value to our team approach to managing I.T. environments.

On Day One, the ideal candidate (you) should be ready and able to:

  • Deploy a superior Information Technology skill set grounded in Microsoft software products, including the ability and experience to install, configure, deploy and troubleshoot desktop and server software, cloud applications and database management software. 
  • Recognize, rapidly respond and fix end-user malware infections
  • Respond to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs. 
  • Establish and maintain network user environment, directories, and security according to IDEOLITY’s stringent standards.
  • Implement disaster recovery procedures.
  • Consult with client and peers at IDEOLITY to enact systems solutions consistent with organizational objectives. 
  • Communicate with peers at IDEOLITY to report and resolve software, hardware, and operations problems.
  • Research and evaluate appropriate technologies that emerge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned according to your interests.

Education and/or Experience: 

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Preference will be given to candidates with an Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. 

Certifications from Microsoft, CompTIA, etc. are desirable.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee must regularly lift and/or carry/move between 20-35 pounds as IDEOLITY delivers equipment to clients and recycles older computer equipment. The employee may sometimes need to walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

Mileage is reimbursed.
