Reporting to the Director of Seaming and Thermal Process Operations, you will support operations by developing, enhancing, and delivering the seamer theory of operations program across Conagra's seaming network. You will help eliminate seaming losses by strengthening the skills of maintenance, operations, and quality associates, leading to step change improvements in performance across six canning facilities. You will be based at one of Conagra's A seaming locations and travel up to 75 percent.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesSupport development, enhancement, and implementation of the seamer theory of operations across Conagra's seaming network.Deep dive into seaming processes and equipment to identify and document key inputs and settings needed for optimal performance.Create role appropriate and level appropriate operating instructions for operations, maintenance, and management associates.Organize and facilitate classroom and hands on training sessions, simulations, and on the job training, including set ups, adjustments, and proper care and operation of seamers and associated processing equipment.Lead data mining, trending, and comparative analytics to drive consistency in seaming outcomes across facilities.Identify seaming related skill gaps and recommend internal or external training to ensure consistent operations and results.Support the seamer fleet management program, partnering with factories to baseline, audit, and execute the program.Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering at each plant to implement maintenance protocols, including tooling life trackers, set up sheets, preventative maintenance programs, and World Class Maintenance efforts.Evaluate and improve universal spare parts inventory for seaming assets.Provide emergency troubleshooting and support for seamers and related processing equipment.Engage subject matter experts to ensure regulatory compliance, food safety, and quality.Collaborate with cross functional partners to strengthen awareness and education of seaming related food safety and quality topics.Ingredients Required for Your SuccessBachelor's degree preferred.Over five years of experience in packaging or a thermal processing manufacturing environment.Working knowledge of seamers, filling equipment, and thermal processing systems.Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies, including infrared, vibration analysis, and non destructive test methods.Completed or willing to complete Better Process School.Experience developing and delivering training programs.Continuous improvement mindset.Travel required up to 50-75%#LI-Onsite#LI-EB1#LI-MSLCompensation Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position.
