This clinic is located in a community eligible for the Government of Canada's Student Loan Forgiveness Program. Eligible Associates may qualify for up to $60,000 in Canada Student Loan forgiveness, applied over a maximum of five years while building a fulfilling career in a welcoming and community-focused practice.

About the Opportunity

Slave Lake Dental is seeking a patientfocused Associate Dentist to join a highly established, technologyforward practice serving a community of more than 25,000 residents from Slave Lake and surrounding areas. With an active patient base and a strong reputation for comprehensive care, this position offers immediate opportunity, robust mentorship, and a warm smalltown practice environment where patients truly feel like family.

Full-Time ScheduleWeek 1 Rotation
  • Monday: 8:30am - 4:30pm

  • Tuesday: 8:30am - 4:30pm

  • Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:30pm

  • Thursday: 8:30am - 4:30pm

Week 2 Rotation
  • Tuesday: 8:30am - 4:30pm

  • Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:30pm

  • Thursday: 8:30am - 4:30pm

  • Friday: 8:30am - 4:30pm

Part-Time Schedule
  • Thursday: 8:30am - 4:30pm

Chair access:

The Associate will work independently on Fridays, with full clinical and RDA support.

Required Clinical Skills

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with:

  • Breadandbutter dentistry

  • Basic oral surgery

  • Fixed prosthodontics (crown & bridge)

About You:

  • Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process

  • Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements

  • Valid CPR certification
