SarelaTech is seeking a Network Administrator at Fort Belvoir, VA to support operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable DTRAโ€™s Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRAโ€™s internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
The Network Administrator will evaluate various components of the network. The successful applicant will perform hands-on STIG Technical implementation Guide; compliance and system hardening across our network infrastructure. This includes using tools such as STIG viewer, ACAS/Nessus, and eMASS to identify, remediate and document security vulnerabilities to maintain a strong security posture.ย  Duties will include providing specifications for network architecture, evaluating current capabilities, and performing needs assessments. Support level duties will include monitoring, modification, and evaluation of network equipment.
Primary focus will be handling internal projects for operations, supporting driving time-sensitive initiatives and ITIL service area activities (problem management, incident management, service request fulfillment, etc.) and specific tasks leading to a successful conclusion of operations evaluation, configuration/change management, and service level agreements (SLA) compliance. ย 
This is an onsite work opportunity with remote work available as approved by the customer. ย 
Primary work location: Fort Belvoir, VA.ย  Secondary work location: Reston, VA.
The individual will adhere to and improve Standard Operating Procedures in a matrixed organization supporting the prime contractor and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.ย 
The individual will be responsible for evaluating technologies spanning five networks and must have experience in one or more of the following technologies: ย 
  • Cisco Catalyst and Nexus technologies
  • F5 Load Balancers
  • ย Palo Alto and Juniper SRX firewalls
  • ServiceNow
The individual must be a self-starter and work equally well alone and as a team.
The individual must be experienced in following strict change control and provide high quality, prompt customer service to DTRA personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masterโ€™s degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.ย  Specific experience, education, and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Excellent oral and written communication for change procedures and management updates
  • Experience with Layers 1-4 of the OSI Model
  • Experience utilizing SecureCRT, STIGViewer, and Evaluate STIG.

Required Current Certifications:
  • DoD 8570 compliant IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE preferred)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate, F5 Certified Administrator, and/or Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator
