The client is seeking an Network Administrator in Fort Belvoir, VA to support large-scale migration and operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable DTRAโ€™s Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRAโ€™s internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locationsโ€ฏโ€ฏ The Sr. Network Admin will support planning, designing, and evaluating various components of the network. Duties will include providing specifications for network architecture, evaluating and recommending new technologies to enhance current capabilities, and performing needs assessments. Support level duties will include monitoring, installation, modification, testing and servicing of network equipment.โ€ฏโ€ฏ Primary focus will be on, handling internal projects for operations, supporting driving time-sensitive initiatives, supports ITIL service area activities (problem management, incident management, service request fulfillment, etc.) andโ€ฏ specific tasks to a successful conclusion, operations management, configuration/change management t, service level agreements (SLA).โ€ฏโ€ฏ Primary Responsibilities:โ€ฏ The individual will adhere to and improve standard operating procedures (SOPโ€™s) in a matrixed organization supporting the prime contractor and CMS.
