Overview


Client First Technologies is seeking a Network Administrator with experience supporting enterprise network infrastructures in secure computing environments. The successful candidate will ensure network services, connectivity, and supporting infrastructure remain secure, functional, and highly available. You will be responsible for monitoring network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, managing network devices, and supporting training and operational systems.


This is a full-time, onsite position located in Pensacola, Florida.

Requirements:


  • Administer, maintain, and monitor enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
  • Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Monitor network performance and availability to ensure reliable operation of training and operational systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, routing, switching, and performance issues
  • Implement network security controls and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements
  • Manage VLANs, VPNs, network segmentation, and access control mechanisms
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and infrastructure maintenance activities
  • Support network capacity planning, disaster recovery initiatives, and infrastructure modernization projects
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement STIGs, RMF controls, and vulnerability remediation efforts
  • Assist with incident response activities related to network performance, security, and availability


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Network Administrator or similar role
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Ability to obtain Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Computing Environment Certification within 180 days of hire
  • General Experience in Network Administration, Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting, Enterprise Infrastructure Support, Technical Documentation, Systems and Network Operations
  • Ability to perform troubleshooting, reviewing logs, and patching


Preferred Qualifications

  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Certification
  • Experience supporting DoD network environments
  • Experience administering Cisco, Dell, Juniper, or other enterprise networking platforms
  • Experience with routing and switching protocols including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, DHCP, and DNS
  • Experience with network monitoring, analysis, and management tools
  • Experience implementing and maintaining DoD STIGs and security controls
  • Knowledge of RMF, PKI, and DoD cybersecurity compliance requirements
  • Experience with firewall administration and VPN technologies
  • Experience supporting data center and enterprise network operations


Physical Demands

  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Occasional travel and overtime may be required


Required Clearances

  • Must possess an active Secret Clearance or higher
