POSITION MISSION
The Financial Systems, Netsuite Administrator is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting scalable, secure, and reliable financial systems that enable Bagel Brands' financial, operational, and commercial processes to operate efficiently and effectively. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial systems are optimized, integrated, and aligned with evolving business needs while supporting data accuracy, process automation, operational scalability, and long-term business growth.
Through technical expertise, strategic problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration, the Financial Systems, Netsuite Administrator serves as a subject matter expert across financial systems architecture, integrations, and platform optimization. In alignment with Bagel Brands' Mission, Vision, and Values, this role drives continuous improvement, supports operational excellence, and delivers technology solutions that help teams operate effectively and make informed business decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Financial Systems Configuration & Administration
  • Architect, configure, and maintain financial systems including NetSuite, Ramp, ReconNet, and related financial platforms.
  • Configure and customize NetSuite modules, forms, fields, records, dashboards, saved searches, workflows, and reports to support evolving business requirements.
  • Ensure financial systems are configured following best practices related to scalability, maintainability, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Support administration, user management, permissions, and data governance activities across financial systems.
  • Maintain system integrity, data accuracy, and operational reliability across platforms and integrated solutions.

Technical Leadership & Solution Design
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to understand operational needs and recommend scalable technical solutions.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into technical designs, workflows, integration plans, and implementation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain system architecture documentation, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Champion financial systems best practices while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and compliance expectations.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations related to financial systems capabilities, enhancements, and optimization opportunities.

Data Quality, Integrations & System Reliability
  • Support and maintain integrations between financial systems and internal or external platforms.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis to ensure stability and reliability across integrated environments.
  • Ensure high levels of data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across financial systems and reporting processes.
  • Optimize end-to-end system workflows and data flows to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Support testing, validation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of system enhancements and integrations.

Support, Maintenance & Continuous Improvement
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users, administrators, and business stakeholders across financial systems platforms.
  • Stay current on system releases, platform capabilities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities that improve operational efficiency and reduce administrative overhead.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to financial systems functionality, reporting, integrations, and user experience.
  • Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, troubleshooting, and technical standards.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE
Required:
  • 5+ years of hands on experience supporting and configuring NetSuite.
  • Proven experience supporting or architecting financial systems with hands-on experience in configuration, customization, and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite architecture, standard modules, workflows, and data structures.
  • Experience configuring and supporting financial platforms and related system integrations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:
  • NetSuite Certification (e.g., NetSuite Certified Administrator) strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SuiteApps and financial systems including ReconNet, Ramp, NetAssets, or related platforms.
  • Experience with integrations, scripting, or automation technologies.
  • Experience with iPaaS tools such as Celigo or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of core web technologies and financial systems architecture principles.
  • Experience within retail, restaurant, or multi-location operational environments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position primarily operates in an office environment and requires the ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods of time. The role frequently involves participating in meetings, reviewing system configurations, troubleshooting technical issues, and communicating across teams and stakeholders.
