Job description

WHO ARE YOU? You are an experienced full-lifecycle NetSuite implementation go-to personfrom planning, configuration, legacy data migration, and reporting readiness through go-live, stabilization, and ongoing operationsand can partner effectively with Finance, Technology, external consultants, and business stakeholders ensuring it is successful.

WHAT IS THE ROLE ABOUT? As our new hands-on NetSuite Systems Administrator, you will serve as the companys internal go-to expert as we transition from Microsoft Great Plains to NetSuite. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will play a high-visibility role that is central to the company-wide systems transformation, implementation, and integration of core platforms such as Salesforce, Magento/Adobe Commerce, Financial reporting and long-term operations. 

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:       

  • Serve as our primary internal NetSuite Systems Administrator and subject matter expert.
  • Support the 9-12 month NetSuite implementation, including requirements validation, configuration, data migration, testing, integrations, reporting, go-live readiness, and stabilization.
  • Partner with Finance, Technology, and external consultants to ensure a successful transition from Microsoft Great Plains to NetSuite and effective knowledge transfer to internal teams.
  • Help design, test, and maintain integrations between NetSuite and enterprise systems, including Salesforce CRM and Magento / Adobe Commerce, ensuring reliable data flow, accuracy, and operational continuity.
  • Configure and administer NetSuite capabilities, including Financials, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory, Advanced Revenue Recognition, MCP, SuiteAnalytics, dashboards, saved searches, workflows, roles, permissions, and user access.
  • Develop and maintain SuiteAnalytics Workbook reports, saved searches, dashboards, and recurring Finance reporting, including month-end close reporting where appropriate.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable NetSuite configurations, workflows, reports, governance practices, and process improvements.
  • Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, user guidance, documentation, release testing, and continuous improvement recommendations.

YOU MUST HAVE (MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE):      

  • Bachelors degree in business/finance/accounting, computer-science or related field
  • 5+ years hands-on experience in NetSuite administration in a business environment
  • Experience successfully supporting or leading one to two full-lifecycle NetSuite implementations
  • Strong understanding of ERP concepts, financial systems, and core Finance processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, order management, procurement, revenue recognition, and financial reporting
  • Experience with NetSuite configuration, roles and permissions, MCP, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, reports, and user administration
  • Experience with complex ERP integrations, ideally including Salesforce-to-NetSuite and Magento / Adobe Commerce-to-NetSuite data pipelines, financial data migration, system testing, and cross-functional implementation activities
  • Ability to partner effectively with Finance stakeholders to translate reporting and process needs into practical NetSuite solutions
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate as a hands-on individual contributor while serving as the internal go-to resource for NetSuite knowledge and support

IDEAL IF YOU HAVE (PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE):

  • NetSuite Systems Administrator Certification or related NetSuite credentials.
  • Experience transitioning from Microsoft Great Plains or another legacy financial system to NetSuite.
  • Experience with SuiteAnalytics, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteScript, Celigo or third-party integration tools.
  • Experience supporting Finance teams in a publishing, education technology, SaaS, subscription, or multi-product business environment.
  • Experience developing ERP governance, documentation, training materials, and support processes for long-term operations.

 

LOCATION: Hybrid Boston 

Candidate must reside within the United States, within a reasonable/commutable distance to our Boston, MA office location and be willing to work a hybrid remote/in-office schedule (Tues/Thurs in office minimum). Relocation is not available for this position.

SALARY RANGE: $115k - $135k annual salary

This position is salaried and is eligible for an annual incentive based on employee and organizational performance.
