Job description

As Head of Engineering, Back Office, you will have very broad ownership that encompasses almost all aspects of our ERP platform. Your team will work on applications that support finance, accounting, customer service and are highly integrated with our consumer web applications.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as the technical subject matter expert for Clients' NetSuite ERP system and other integrated software components.
  • Be responsible for project delivery of all Back Office related application development and integrations
  • Guide the technical direction for the Back Office stack and work with the engineering leadership to influence major technical decisions that affect the entire company.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to build and maintain a strategic roadmap of Back Office initiatives.
  • Lead the implementation efforts while constantly grooming a complex backlog of ERP-related projects
  • Help to improve the development process of the Back Office team to optimize for delivery and predictability
  • Create an engineering culture of ownership, accountability, testing, and measurement.
  • Be a talent builder to attract, mentor, and retain best in class engineers.
You Are:
  • Well versed on ERP technologies and industry best practices
  • Able to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Collaborative and candid with non-engineering stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • 8 to 10 years of experience building software in roles of increasing responsibility and technical capability
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team of engineers of 5 or more
  • 3+ years working with NetSuite
Preferred:
  • NetSuite Administrator level knowledge of roles, permissions, custom records, scripting, workflows, reports, saved searches, dashboards and forms to manage unique business process requirements within NetSuite
  • Hands on experience with designing and/or supporting NetSuite integration with other business systems like SAP Concur, Shopify, Boomi, PowerBI, etc.
