Job description

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on time.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting as needed.
  • Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Assist with audits, tax filings, and special projects.
  • Analyze financial data and identify trends or issues.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of accounting or finance experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Great Plains, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
  • Strong Excel and accounting software skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
