Supergoop!

San Antonio, TX

Full-time

Job description

Who you are:

Supergoop! is seeking a detail-driven and analytically strong Senior Manager of Inventory Control to own our physical inventory accuracy and operational inventory picture. In this role, you will be the ground-level operational owner of what is actually in our warehouse - managing physical inventory accuracy, cycle count programs, aged and at-risk stock identification, and disposition decisions. You will serve as the operational bridge between what is in the warehouse and what is being bought, providing the inventory reality check that informs purchasing decisions and prevents financial exposure. You will report directly to the VP, Operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own physical inventory accuracy across all warehouse locations - manage cycle count programs, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and maintain NetSuite inventory records to match physical reality.
  • Own aged and at-risk inventory identification - build and maintain a regular view of inventory aging, expiration risk, slow-moving SKUs, and excess stock that requires disposition decisions.
  • Drive disposition decisions on aged, at-risk, and excess inventory - partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations on markdowns, reCommerce, donations, and write-off recommendations.
  • Serve as the operational voice in purchasing conversations - provide ground-level inventory data that informs buying cadence, quantity decisions, and SKU-level risk assessment.
  • Partner with finance and demand planning on inventory valuation, PPV analysis, and forward-looking inventory positioning.
  • Build and maintain inventory reporting that gives leadership clear visibility into inventory health, risk, and accuracy on a regular cadence.
  • Partner with the Logistics and 3PL Manager on inbound receiving accuracy, discrepancy resolution, and warehouse inventory management.
  • Use NetSuite and AI-powered tools to automate inventory tracking, build risk models, and surface inventory exposure before it becomes a financial impact.
  • Own the relationship with the 3PL on inventory accuracy - drive accountability for physical counts, receiving accuracy, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Identify systemic inventory accuracy issues and build the processes that prevent them from recurring.

Qualifications/Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or a closely related field
  • Deep working knowledge of physical inventory management - cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and inventory reconciliation
  • Experience identifying and managing aged, excess, and at-risk inventory in a CPG or consumer goods environment
  • Comfort operating independently and pushing back on purchasing or fulfillment decisions with data - this role requires objectivity and directness
  • NetSuite experience required - deep familiarity with inventory management modules strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated comfort with AI-powered tools including Claude, Parabola, or similar platforms - a genuine curiosity about using technology to improve inventory visibility
  • Strong analytical capability - able to build inventory aging models, interpret data, and translate findings into clear recommendations
  • Excellent cross-functional communicator - able to work effectively with procurement, fulfillment, finance, and warehouse partners
