Summary:

PJ Trailers is currently hiring an Inventory Control Lead to work in our Sumner, Tx facility. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to lead the inventory team and work closely with value stream material team members to manage the inventory control system, maintain proper data and records, resolve inaccurate data through root cause / countermeasure analysis and report ongoing performance to management team.

Minimum Qualifications & Job Duties:

  • Administer inventory control procedures to optimize inventory accuracy
  • Collaborate with Value Stream team members to ensure inventory procedures are being followed
  • Assist in coordination and administration of annual physical inventory
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP)
  • Ability to work with all levels of management team and hourly personnel.
  •  Detail oriented & excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral.
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Review and apply PJ inventory activities, including movements and deletions.
  • Maintain and update inventory records as needed.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Works closely with cycle counters to verify that on hand raw material inventory matches what is in the system.
  • Reports any inventory discrepancies to management team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CPIM) are a plus
  • Material distribution or inventory control background
