We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what's next.

We launched a new ad-supported tier in November 2022 to offer our members more choice in how they consume their content. Our new tier allows us to attract new members at a lower price point while also creating a compelling path for advertisers to reach deeply engaged audiences.

Our Team

The Ads Integration Engineering team is committed to accelerating product adoption at scale by streamlining complex and repeatable integrations with external partners and platforms. Our mission is to deliver standardized, paved-path integrations that unlock operational value and accelerate time to market, acting as the primary technical liaison to ensure seamless implementation and robust support.

Responsibilities

  • Build a deep understanding of the Netflix Ads Stack to serve as a platform expert capable of navigating technical ambiguity and selecting the most efficient integration paths aligned with long-term product vision.

  • Drive the end-to-end integration lifecycle including implementation, configuration, and validation by working exclusively within established systems and tooling owned and built by core Software Engineering (SWE) teams.

  • Serve as the voice of the customer and primary technical point of contact for external partners, representing their technical needs and constraints in internal requirements discussions to ensure the product roadmap accounts for real-world integration challenges

  • Provide hands-on technical support for integrations, while owning the launch monitoring and stability of mature product integrations to ensure a successful transition to live usage.

  • Act as the internal quarterback for critical incidents (SEV1/SEV2). Manage communication between the client and Product/Engineering during outages.

  • Manage proactive technical communications with all stakeholders and contribute to integration-specific codebase changes (such as debugging, configuration, or observability improvements) in close collaboration with the responsible SWE teams.

Qualifications

  • Advertising Technology Experience: Deep experience in digital media or ad tech, specifically in roles involving hands on work with data clean rooms, measurement partners, DSPs/SSPs/Creative Ad Servers.

  • Data Clean Room (DCR) Knowledge: Implementation knowledge of DCR technologies (e.g., Snowflake, AMC, Ads Data Hub) and privacy-first audience activation strategies.

  • Proficiency in Java or Python and advanced SQL knowledge are required for hands-on technical tasks, including data preparation, dealing with log-level data and debugging.

  • API Mastery: Extensive experience implementing, troubleshooting, and debugging REST APIs using tools like curl, Postman, or similar.

  • Cloud Architecture: Deep understanding of at least one public cloud computing platform.

  • Code Comprehension: Ability to read and debug code to contribute minor, integration-specific changes (e.g., small pull requests, observability improvements) to existing codebases.

  • Technical Support and Client training Expertise: Hands-on experience providing technical support, resolving blockers, and performing system validation to ensure successful integration launches.

  • Embrace Emerging Technologies: There is immense opportunity to leverage AI tools to improve our ability to provide world-class support, documentation, and integration with our partners. We would love to see experience with leveraging these tools for real-world results in this space.

Partnership & Communication

  • Platform Mastery & Curiosity: A high degree of curiosity and the ability to rapidly build a deep understanding of the Netflix Ads Stack to serve as an authoritative resident expert, providing the technical guidance needed to steer partners and internal teams through complex implementations.

  • Technical Translation: Proven ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into concrete technical integration plans and explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Partner Advocacy: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage technical relationships and effectively represent partner needs to internal product and engineering teams.
