Job description

Founded in 2004, NetBrain is the leader in no-code network automation. Its ground-breaking Next-Gen platform provides IT operations teams with the ability to scale their hybrid multi-cloud connected networks by automating the processes associated with Diagnostic Troubleshooting, Outage Prevention and Protected Change Management. Today, over 2,500 of the world's largest enterprises and managed services providers leverage NetBrain's platform.
What We Need
We are seeking an execution-oriented, tech-forward Senior Manager / Director of Business Operations & AI to serve as a key operational partner to the executive team. In this role, you will manage internal operating rhythms, lead critical cross-functional initiatives, and drive the adoption of modern AI tooling and automated workflows across our business operations.
You do not need a traditional finance or accounting background. We are looking for a systems thinker, an exceptional project leader, and a hands-on builder who can turn executive priorities into structured, measurable operational momentum.
What You'll Do
AI Adoption & Workflow Modernization
  • Identify, evaluate, and assist with deploying practical AI workflows to eliminate manual toil and increase team output in partnership with the AI team.
  • Champion practical AI enablement within the Finance team.
  • Continuously audit internal processes to uncover automation and modernization opportunities.

Management Operating System & Cadence
  • Own and refine the operational operating cadence (e.g., quarterly planning milestones, OKR/KPI tracking, executive dashboards, and strategic reviews).
  • Build and maintain clean reporting mechanisms that provide ongoing visibility into key initiatives and operational health.
  • Ensure executive action items, cross-departmental commitments, and decision logs are systematically tracked and closed out.

What You Bring
  • Senior Manager level: 7+ years in Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, or Consulting
  • Director level: 10+ years with a demonstrated track record of leading major cross-functional transformations and operating cadences.
  • Industry Context: Background in B2B software, SaaS, or high-growth technology organizations preferred.
  • AI & Tech Savvy: Active power-user familiarity with modern AI platforms, workflow orchestration, and modern productivity tooling.
  • Execution & Structure: Proven capability to establish project governance, track complex deliverables, and build structured operating systems from scratch.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong executive presence, clear communication, and the ability to influence cross-functional peers without direct line authority.
  • Work Arrangement: Ability to work a hybrid schedule on-site at our Burlington, MA office.
  • Manual Dexterity: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer.
  • Stationary Tasks: Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position.

What We Offer
