Jet Select, a Vista America company, is excited to be hiring Cabin Host/Hostess to join our managed fleet. As a Cabin Host/Hostess, you will work onboard one of our modern and luxurious private jets, placing dedicated focus on the comfort of our customers during their entire experience. Ultimately creating a unique home away from home experience, which our customers have come to love. As a member of the Cabin Crew, you will understand that every flight is special and planned down to the finest of details. You will take care of every aspect of the customers' experience to ensure they enjoy a tailored and unparalleled service. This opportunity is on a luxurious Gulfstream 550 and requires positioning in KBDR.

There will be some combination of part 91/135 flying.
Responsibilities
  • Operate all emergency equipment including fire extinguishers, life rafts, oxygen equipment and automatic external defibrillator.
  • Document all cabin maintenance issues with Pilot in Command
  • Brief and assist passengers with aircraft convenience systems such as entertainment, high speed data systems
  • Assist passengers with carry-on
  • Assist passengers with seating for adults and children including passengers with disabilities and children who require restraint systems.
  • Plan, order, prepare and serve all meals and
  • Able to serve and handle fish, shellfish, wheat, soy, milk, tree nuts and peanuts.
  • Duties may include being around animals and smoking.
  • Develop standard stock and source vendors for aircraft cabin, lavatory and galley.
  • Ensure aircraft is prepared to specifications prior to each flight
  • Ensure aircraft cabin is clean and aircraft water and lavatories are serviced prior to each flight
  • Conduct pre-flight check of all cabin safety equipment prior to each flight
  • Assist and command the cabin in the event of an aircraft emergency, medical emergency or aircraft evacuation.
  • Assist flight crew in safety related tasks.

Requirements
  • Positioning in Bridgeport, CT
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; college degree preferred
  • Previous private or commercial (First or Business Class cabin) aviation experience, a minimum of 3 years' experience of high-end service in other luxury sectors
  • US passport or Green Card holder, with the legal right to live and work in either the USA
  • Ability to obtain a second passport and crew visas
  • Legal right to travel without restriction to/from all countries that Vista America serves
  • Holds a valid US Driver's License
  • Highly flexible with a proven ability to find creative solutions
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to calmly prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
  • Passionate about providing guests with 5-star customer service
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
  • The ability to communicate (both speaking and writing) articulately in English. Other languages and international cultural experiences are beneficial
  • Ability to successfully assist in launch of a life raft weighing approximately 60 pounds
  • Ability to lift, open and manipulate aircraft door and window exits weighing up to 130 pounds
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days-off
