Job Description

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to support corporate real estate and capital improvement projects throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor and owner's representative, leading complex projects and programs from planning through completion while ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client objectives. This individual will provide strategic leadership, oversee multiple concurrent projects, and serve as a key point of contact for senior client stakeholders.

 Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead multiple concurrent capital projects and programs, including renovations, workplace, infrastructure, and facility improvement initiatives.
  • Manage complex projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and operational requirements.
  • Lead project planning efforts including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, procurement strategies, and overall project execution.
  • Coordinate and manage architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, risk registers, and executive-level reporting.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively identify and mitigate risks affecting cost, schedule, quality, or business continuity.
  • Facilitate project meetings and communicate project status, risks, and key milestones to client stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Review and evaluate consultant and contractor deliverables, contracts, proposals, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Lead project governance and change management processes while ensuring appropriate client approvals and decision-making.
  • Support strategic capital planning initiatives and provide recommendations regarding project prioritization, execution strategies, and resource allocation.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to Project Managers and other team members, promoting best practices and professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to provide additional value and expand service offerings.
  • Ensure application of best practices, governance procedures, and quality standards across all assigned projects and programs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and capture lessons learned across projects.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of project management experience within commercial real estate, corporate occupier, construction, owner's representative, or consulting environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex capital improvement, workplace, renovation, infrastructure, or facility-related projects and programs.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong knowledge of project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, and consultant management.
  • Experience presenting project updates, recommendations, and business cases to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, client management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management platforms such as Microsoft Project, Procore, or Smartsheet.
  • PMP, CCM, or similar professional certification preferred.

Additional Information

This position is based in St. Louis, Missouri and will support projects throughout the greater St. Louis metropolitan area. Regular client meetings and site visits are required.
