We are looking for an experienced, strong, self-motivated software development manager who is excited to solve database problems, handle people management and product prioritization. You will enable and support the engineers on the team to design and deliver new features that drive Neptune's high availability, reliability and performance guarantees to AWS customers. You will participate in project execution to develop cutting-edge database service capabilities while working with amazing team members and stakeholders.
A day in the life
Lead the development of cloud-native database
Design, implement, test, and deploy database services optimized for cloud environments
Mentor engineers and managers while contributing hands-on technical work
Drive technical decisions, design tradeoffs, and feature prioritization
Partner with senior executives to define business targets and resource planning
Build and scale engineering teams through recruitment and talent development
Shape technical strategy to deliver innovative solutions for customers
