CELESTE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES LLC is seeking diligent drivers responsible for safe and reliable transportation of clients to and from non-emergency medical appointments in but not limited to all counties in RI.
Job Functions:
• Practice safe driving methods and adhering to traffic laws while transporting clients promptly
• Ability to empathize with already compromised clients to effectively provide a pleasant level of service
• Possess a good sense of direction while navigating through busy traffics en route to client appointments and homes.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle
Requirements:
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must have a valid RI driver’s license
• Pass a mandatory background check and pre-employment drug screen, sex offender, and child maltreatment screening
• Meet all requirements set forth by NEMT program including, but not limited to: Clean Driving Record, Health Attestation, and successful completion of required Healthcare related trainings.
• Must be flexible with schedule to include some weekends
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) when dealing with clients, management, and co- workers
• Must be reliable and show a sense of urgency to provide great service for clients
• Experience with GPS navigation systems
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good driving record with no DUI's, at-fault accidents or moving violations within past 3 years.
• Be able to start work at 5:30 AM
• Full-time drivers work 8 or more hours each day and often on weekends
• 30 to 40 weekly hours
