Job Overview: Nehemiah Hope Center is seeking a compassionate Outpatient Therapist to provide mental health support to clients at our Taunton office. This role involves delivering personalized therapy, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families to improve emotional well-being. Ideally, you are experienced in modalities like CBT and crisis intervention and are passionate about helping children, adolescents, and individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Therapy: Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions in our office or via telehealth.
  • Assessments & Planning: Complete comprehensive assessments (using ICD-10 standards) and create tailored treatment plans using evidence-based practices (CBT, applied behavior analysis, etc.).
  • Crisis Management: Utilize de-escalation techniques to ensure client safety and support clients during acute mental health episodes or trauma.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate medical records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Collaboration: Work with medical professionals and our team to coordinate patient care and monitor treatment outcomes.
  • Specialized Support: Assist clients with diverse needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, addiction recovery, and trauma (PTSD).

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in mental health counseling (inpatient or outpatient). Experience with children, adolescents, and autism is highly desired.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, billing coding (ICD-10/CPT), and behavioral health modalities.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in documentation.
  • Tech: Telehealth experience is a plus.
