Hourly: $30.00 to $35.00 / hour
We have partnered with a manufacturer of aluminum castings in the Clifton, NJ area to provide them with an NDT Level III Radiographic Inspector. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the NDT Level III Radiographic Inspector:
#1. High School Diploma or GED
#2. NDT Level II Radiographic Inspection certification per NAS 410
#3. 3 to 5 years of experience performing non destructive testing in a manufacturing environment
#4. Experience interpreting inspection standards such as ASTM E 1742 and AMS 2175
#5. Experience operating radiographic inspection equipment and documenting inspection results.
Responsibilities of the NDT Level III Radiographic Inspector:
  • Perform radiographic nondestructive testing on aluminum castings using assigned inspection techniques
  • Follow industry standards and internal processing procedures during inspections
  • Conduct required process controls according to ASTM E 1742 standards
  • Inspect aluminum castings for defects and discontinuities using acceptance criteria such as AMS 2175
  • Document inspection findings including defect location, type, and severity
  • Maintain inspection documentation in accordance with quality management system procedures
  • Follow internal NDT procedures and related quality documentation requirements
  • Provide guidance and training to Level I technicians on NDT techniques and procedures

Requirements of the NDT Level III Radiographic Inspector:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • NDT Level II Radiographic Inspection certification per NAS 410
  • 3 to 5 years of experience performing nondestructive testing in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of dimensional inspection tools and shop mathematics
  • Experience performing NDT in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments
  • Experience with both film and digital radiographic inspection methods

  • 100% onsite
  • No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
