What you will do

  • Providing personalized support to clients in accordance with their individual support plans
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Deliver care aligned with Behaviour Support Plans and NDIS Practice Standards
  • Supporting clients with high intensity needs
  • Champion choice, dignity, and cultural respect in all client interactions
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation

About you

  • Hold minimum Certificate 3 in Individual Support or Above
  • A passion for safeguarding human rights and a deep personal connection to working in a purpose-driven organisation.
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and a 'C' class driver's license
  • A Current First Aid Certificate (willingness to Obtain if not held or expired)
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Use of own vehicle to provide client transport for community-based duties (mileage will be re-imbursed)
  • Passport, Birth or Citizenship Certificate to validate Australian Work Rights
  • Willingness to complete a National & International Police Check (Paid by Afford)
  • Ability to Complete Pre-Employment Medical/Functional Assessment (Paid by Afford)
