  • Remuneration:$43.23 p/hr +Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

    Your part in our UnitingCare team

    • Work in partnership with the person being supported, their family and informal support networks, toattainthe hopes and aspirations they haveestablishedfor their lives

    • Provide support to people in their everyday living situations, including personal care asidentified, with an emphasis on choice, enhancing quality of life

    • Participate in the development, implementation and review of individual plans that focus on the life hopes and aspirations of people

    • Enable people toattainpersonal autonomy over their own lives and the services which they receive

    • Recognise and uphold the right to respect, privacy, dignity and confidentiality of the person being supported and their family

    What makes a difference for us?

    • A relevant Industry qualification (e.g. certificate 3 in Disability or individual Support) is desirable.
    • Available to work Weekend and Sleepover shifts
    • Experience working in the Disability, Aged and Community sector is ideal but not essential -as long asyou have positive attitude and a willingness to learn

    • A current NDIS Worker Screening check and Blue Card (orin the process of obtaining)

    • Current OpenDriversLicense

    • Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (requiredbefore you start)

    • Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent support to clients and co-workers

    • Being flexible (able to work varied hours and days) and reliable to meet the needs of the people we support

    • Able to effectively communicate in spoken and written English
