Description

The objective of the Lead is to ensure that fanatical focus is provided on a shift-by-shift basis by executing Hopdoddy Standards while opening or closing the restaurant. 

Requirements

Restaurant Operations:

  • Apply consistent focus on the guest by paying close attention to detail in the performance of all tasks.
  • Participate in and foster positive team relations with team members and management.
  • Has the ability to open or close the restaurant as the acting manager on duty
  • Sets the leadership example for the team members in the restaurant through own conduct, appearance, and energy level
  • Ensures food is prepared in accordance with Company standards and recipes.
  • Fanatical not only about Hopdoddy, but about learning and growing.
  • Maintain facilities in an NCO fashion by ensuring that daily and/or weekly cleaning schedules are consistently executed. 
  • Assist other positions when needed.
  • Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required from time to time.

Work with the Management Team to execute Hopdoddy Hospitality through the following: 

  • Create an awesome and memorable guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring team members are engaging and delivering the Hopdoddy experience.  
  • Uphold The 5 Touches and Hopdoddy Table Stakes to ensure a great guest experience.
  • Showcase Hopdoddy Hospitality by creating fun and energetic dining experiences for guests through delivering a high level of service.  
  • Lead energetic and focused pre-shifts.
  • Coach Team Members to engage with guests to understand their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Ensure that the Hopdoddy culture is alive and well in the restaurant, and the guests can feel it.
  • Make financial decisions, as needed, with respect to guest satisfaction.
  • Perform team member checkouts at shift change or closing. 
  • Conduct table visits during shift to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with first round interviews.
  • Lead contests and incentives.
  • Ensure bar equipment is clean.
  • Ensure glassware inventory is stocked.
  • Conducts uniform Inventory.
  • Cross-trained in all BOH positions.
  • Receive products, verifying invoices and product quality standards.  
  • Assist with preparing the Doddy Dashboard and prep lists.
  • Ensure product quality standards are achieved by conducting consistent and thorough line checks, ensuring recipe adherence (most current recipe, proper weights, accurate prep items, portions, etc) and food presentation will WOW the Guest.
  • Ensure BOH safety standards are being followed.
