As aWarehouse Supervisorat Alliance Ground International (AGI), you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with safety standards. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a team and ensurethe smoothhandling of cargo.

Job responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, anddispatching ofcargo.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate with team members to meet deadlines and operational goals.

  • Train and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure proper documentation of cargo movements.

  • Monitor andmaintainthe functionality of warehouse equipment and infrastructure.

  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless cargo handling and delivery.

  • Investigate and resolve operational issues or discrepancies promptly.

  • Prepare operational reports and updates for management.

  • Promote a positive and productive work environment by recognizing team contributions.

Safety, Security and Compliance:

All AGI team members have a responsibility and duty while at work to:

  • Take reasonable care for the health, wellbeing, safety, and security of themselves and of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions while at work.

  • Cooperate with their manager/supervisor to ensure compliance with any legal requirements imposed on the company.

  • Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents, or dangerous occurrences to their manager/supervisor, who will then follow the procedures outlined in company policies.

  • Carry out workin accordance withinformation and training provided and any specific safety or security rules or procedures.

  • Fully understand AGI's Health, Safety, and Security policies.

  • Attend training courses as required by AGI.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods in a warehouse environment.

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and weather conditions.

  • Flexibility toworkvarying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety standards.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with teams and stakeholders.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

  • Proficiencyin warehouse management systems (WMS) and related tools.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;additionaleducation or certifications inlogisticspreferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with supervisory experience preferred.

  • If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.If work location is in Canada, must have authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001.

Warehouse and ramp operations schedules are constantly adjusted to flight operations. Adjustments are made monthly, weekly, and in many cases, hourly.
