Draftcade is a throwback gaming experience like you’ve never seen before! Located directly next to the Funny Bone in Short Pump Town Center, our retro arcade has all the classics you know and love, such as Super Mario Brothers, NBA Jam, Donkey Kong, Pac Man, Street Fighter, and so many others! There’s also basketball, skeeball, and pinball to play as a part of our lineup of over 50 games. We offer 60 drafts on tap, and we’re always rotating them to bring a unique and flavorful beer selection, as well as a full-service bar and kitchen.
As a Draftcade Host, you're responsible for greeting each guest, checking their ID during certain operating hours, and answering any questions they may have. You welcome guests as they arrive, thank them as they leave, and encourage them to come back for another awesome night out! You will also assist our servers/bartenders in general cleanliness of the venue throughout your shift as well.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome guests as they enter and thank them as they depart
  • Check for proper identification during certain operating hours 
  • Support organization and cleanliness of the space
  • Guide guests to their party or special event
  • Regular restroom checks for cleanliness/stocking items
  • Make recommendations on menu offerings and activities
  • Respond to and attempt to resolve issues – notify management when needed
  • Keep arcade area/barriers between games free of trash and wiped down 
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends.
  • Ability to follow proper cleanliness and hygiene procedures.
  • Must work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
