üThis role requires strong knowledge of Navy Shipyard Programs and Corporate Software Suites, Lean Six Sigma methodologies and practices
üExperience with process improvement, data gathering, analysis, and change management activities in the core focus areas.

üFacilitation and continuous process and performance improvement (CPPI)
üLean Six Sigma (LSS)
üBlack Belt services; technical writing and configuration management services
Responsibilities:
·Analyze business needs and processes to assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications
·Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements by understanding workflow, goals, and processes
·Act as liaison between the development teams and business stakeholders to ensure that ERP solutions align with business objectives
·Document business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps to serve as a reference for the organization
·Analyze system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities to improve processes and ERP functionality
·Provide subject matter expertise in continuous process improvement for consistency, efficiency, and standardization
·Develop and implement change strategies, governance, and workflows for shipyard business processes
·Facilitate and support technical conferences, meetings, and symposia, including content development and analysis
·Provide event management support with Lean Six Sigma or equivalent services, including process mapping, data analysis, and cost-benefit assessments
·Coordinate reviews and consensus-building for AIM-NG chapters and other process documentation
·Deliver functional expertise and user experience for Ship Maintenance Community Corporate IT Software Suite
·Analyze business cases and facilitate requirements development for changes to IT applications and business processes
·Support IT development, execution, and release assessments, including effectiveness and lessons learned
·Participate in Digital Program Office (DPO) reviews and IT management board meetings
·Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of corporate metrics, dashboards, and data visualizations for ship maintenance and analytics
·Conduct continual program and software life-cycle planning, data mining, alternatives assessments, and prediction and decision support analytics in support of Navy metrics
·Integrate data from multiple shipyard IT systems to enable comprehensive analytics and reporting
·Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all supported systems
·Collaborate with Data Architects and Programmers to implement data-driven solution
·Provide business process analysis, requirements development, and documentation
·Support project documentation, status reporting, and deliverable tracking
·Assist with resource planning, budget management, and responses to data calls and inquiries
·Participate in program reviews, kick-off meetings, and special reviews, providing business process and IT system expertise
·Apply knowledge of NSY business processes and shipyard IT infrastructures, including system interface diagrams
·Develop and maintain business process and requirements maps, including "As Is" and future state documentation
·Support digital transformation initiatives and user experience analysis for IT systems
·Participate in Technical User Groups (TUGs), Metric Community of Practice (MCoP), and
·IT management board meetings
·Provide business process analysis and requirements development support for NSSO program management
·Support document development documentation, status reports, and deliverables tracking
·Assist with resource planning, budget management, and responses to data calls for NSSO program support
·Participate in program reviews, kick-off meetings, and special reviews as required, providing business process and IT system expertise
Requirements:
·Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Business, Engineering, or Industrial Operations
·4 – 7 years of experience in process improvement, including data gathering, analysis, change management, process implementation, and evaluation activities
Highly Desired Qualifications
·Masters in a field related to Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent field
·5 years of experience supporting process or performance improvement efforts within the Naval Shipyards, or at least 5 years of Ship Maintenance Corporate Software Suite Functional and Process Knowledge/Experience
·15 years of experience in process improvement, including data gathering, analysis, change management, process implementation, and evaluation activities
·Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
·LSS Black Belt or Green Belt Certification or equivalent certification in a similar process improvement methodology
