ย Required Qualifications:

  • Former Surface Warfare Officer (SWO), Limited Duty Officer (LDO), Chief Warrant Officer (CWO), or Senior Enlisted (E6-E9) with a minimum of 10 years US Navy Active duty experience
  • Must have Combat Systems experience related to Aegis Combat System
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, possessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance*

Desired, but not required:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited academic institution
  • Must have experience on Surface Combatant Ships to include a deployment in support of battle group operations
  • Demonstrated experience in any of the following areas:
    • Completion of ship deployment in support of strike group operations
    • Test and Evaluation experience
    • Tactics development and evaluation
    • Officer of the Deck (OOD) qualification
    • Tactical Action Officer (TAO) qualification
    • Navy Instructor/Master Training Specialist (MTS)
    • Specialty fleet systems qualifications

*Maintaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves periodic comprehensive background checks.ย  Candidates are eligible for a clearance if they have demonstrated sound financial management (including good credit) over time, are free of criminal records, have limited foreign contacts or ties, and other factors indicative of a position of trust to protect information sensitive to the U.S. Government.
