Job description

The newly established Threat Management Unit (TMU), as part of a greater NFCU Global Security team, is hiring a Senior Intelligence Analyst to help buildout and lead a broader intelligence-driven capability focused on proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating threats across cyber, physical, and human domains. This position is critical in modernizing and innovating the TMU intelligence function by working complex OSINT-driven analysis, supporting a broad range of insider threat investigations, identifying counterintelligence opportunities, and mitigating an array of sophisticated threats targeting Navy Federal. Working in a highly collaborative environment, this analyst partners across the organization to enhance threat detection, risk identification, and response capabilities, while fusing behavioral, technical, and investigative intelligence into a unified threat picture and delivering clear, actionable insights. The role provides direct analytical support across key Global Security teams, including Investigations, Insider Threat, Counterintelligence, Executive Protection, and Physical Security Operations.

  • 5+ years of experience as an Analyst in Intelligence or Corporate Security   

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant coursework in security, intelligence, or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience

  • Experience supporting corporate security, insider threat programs, fraud investigations, or enterprise risk management

  • Prior collaboration with cross-functional partners such as Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Employee Relations teams

  • Experience working within an Intelligence Community (IC), law enforcement, military intelligence, or corporate security organization

Desired Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in All-Source Intelligence Analyst, Corporate Security Analyst, or Investigations Analyst

  • Master's degree in intelligence, security studies, criminal justice, psychology, or related discipline

  • Active or prior security clearance

  • USG intelligence analysis training and experience, including the use of classified systems and analytical programs

  • Professional certifications such Certified Threat Manager (CTM), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), etc.

Location: 

  • 820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA 22180
  • Lead and direct the Intelligence Analysis team, setting analytic priorities, standards, and workflows to support Navy Federal security and investigative missions.

  • Lead complex investigations and advanced threat assessments

  • Identify and assess sophisticated threat patterns impacting personnel and operations

  • Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on analytic methodologies

  • Develop and present executive-level intelligence briefings

  • Support protective intelligence and executive protection initiatives

  • Conduct all-source intelligence analysis focused on security risks

  • Collect, validate, and analyze open-source, social media, and proprietary data

  • Apply structured analytic techniques to support investigative assessments

  • Develop clear, actionable intelligence products and brief stakeholders

  • Collaborate with internal partners for case resolution and preventive measures

  • Assist with basic open-source and proprietary research under supervision

  • Support data collection and validation for security investigations

  • Identify threat indicators and anomalies

  • Track investigative tasks, workflows, deadlines, and performance metrics using basic project management and reporting tools

Advanced Skills and Proficiencies: 

  • Demonstrated experience conducting intelligence analysis supporting investigations & operations using a variety information sources and analytic methodologies

  • Proven ability to perform OSINT-driven investigative research with high accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail

  • Strong analytical writing and briefing skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable security assessments

  • Experience applying structured analytic techniques and critical thinking to intelligence or investigative problem sets

  • Familiarity with digital investigations, online attribution, social media exploitation, and research methodologies

  • Ability to work independently, manage sensitive information, and operate effectively in a corporate security environment
