As a Natural Gas Scheduler, your daily responsibilities include coordinating the movement of natural gas across pipelines, confirming nominations with trading partners, and monitoring supply and demand balances. You will update schedules in real-time, communicate with pipeline operators and internal stakeholders, and respond to scheduling changes or emergencies as they arise. Additionally, you may be responsible for reconciling imbalances, verifying flows against contracts, and generating reports for management. This role requires a high level of organization, technical proficiency, and the ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure. Because the energy market is dynamic, you'll often collaborate closely with traders, analysts, and other schedulers to ensure seamless and compliant operations.
