Position Summaryย 

The Blendingย Operator IIย is responsible forย safely and accurately producing chemical products according to established specifications whileย maintainingย high standardsย for quality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires a disciplined approach to following processes,ย a strong senseย of ownership for outcomes, and an active mindset toward improving how work is done. Blending Operator IIs are expected to support 6S practices, work with data, and contribute to continuous process improvement efforts.ย 

ย Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Read, understand, and follow blending and mixing specifications with discipline and precision to ensure consistent, high-quality finished productsย 
  • Execute established processes consistently, trusting that standard work and repeatability are essential for quality and continuous improvementย 
  • Mix products for specified durations andย monitorย the process to ensure proper control,ย adjustingย or escalating concerns as neededย 
  • Take ownership of assigned work by seeing tasks through to completion and ensuring results meet expectationsย 
  • Activelyย monitorย product quality, raw materials, and equipment;ย immediatelyย stopย workย and notify supervision when quality or safety issues areย identifiedย 
  • Accurately record production data, work orders, batch information, and production times to support traceability and data-driven decisionsย 
  • Apply correct labels and documentation to finished productsย 
  • Operate a forklift to unload incoming chemical shipments (when certified)ย 
  • Maintain 6S standards by keeping work areas clean, organized, safe, and clearlyย labeled at all timesย 
  • Use data, observations, and firsthand experience toย identifyย opportunities for process improvement and support corrective actionsย 
  • Communicate proactively with supervisors and teammatesโ€”sharing issues, updates, and concerns early to avoid surprisesย 
  • Treat company resources, equipment, and materials with care and leave the work area in better condition than it was foundย 
  • Comply withย all OSHA, EPA, local regulatory requirements, and company safety policiesย 
  • Perform other duties as assigned; managementย retainsย the discretion toย modifyย responsibilities as business needs evolveย 

ย Qualificationsย 

  • High school diploma or equivalent requiredย 
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to take personal responsibility for quality, safety, and resultsย 
  • Ability and willingness to work as part of a production team that values trust, accountability, and collaborationย 
  • Comfortable following standardized processes while alsoย seekingย to understand the โ€œwhyโ€ behind themย 
  • Willingness to work assigned hours and overtime as neededย 

ย Physical Requirementsย 

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of timeย 
  • Regularly required to stoop, crouch, reach, walk, twist, bend, and perform repetitive tasksย 
  • Ability to use hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulationย
