We are looking for a Safety Manager in Luxemburg, WI.

The Safety Manager is responsible for directing and leading all site safety programs including but not limited to: new employee safety orientation, safety training, written program creation and maintenance, assisting with programs such as Workers' Compensation, and Process Safety Management. The Safety Manager empowers leadership and employees to embrace safety as a top priority in all job-related functions and to ultimately reach an accident-free working environment by ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations as applicable.

  • Salary range 005: $84,200 - $105,200 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position).

Where you will drive value:

  • Develop, update, and administer safety programs, policies, and written procedures.

  • Ensure facility compliance with OSHA and all federal, state, local, and internal safety standards.

  • Establish safety performance expectations and reporting processes.

  • Maintain understanding of safety regulations and ensure company practices meet or exceed requirements.

  • Lead safety training and coaching, and maintain the new/transfer employee safety orientation program.

  • Oversee and audit safety training and monthly plant audits; develop key safety metrics for performance improvement.

  • Partner with management and employees to identify training needs based on changes in procedures, regulations, or technologies.

  • Administer the Accident Investigation program, including incident reviews, corrective action planning, and rootcause analysis.

  • Implement and refine injuryprevention processes to improve incident frequency, compliance, and workers' compensation outcomes.

  • Translate organizational safety objectives into actionable initiatives.

  • Lead and develop the Safety Committee in collaboration with Plant Managers and plant employees.

  • Work with Workers' Compensation insurance consultants on lossprevention initiatives.

  • Support employees with injury/accident claims and manage the claims process.

  • Collaborate with HR and Site Managers to coordinate safe and timely returntowork plans.

  • Lead resolution of Workers' Compensation cases with focus on cost control and effective case management.

  • When applicable, manage employees including work direction, training, evaluations, policy administration, discipline, and compensation recommendations.

  • Implement departmental objectives in alignment with company policies.

  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Stop unsafe acts, correct or report hazards, and support all safety programs and policies.

What will enable you to have an impact:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field required.

  • A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment required.

  • Dairy and/or food & beverage manufacturing safety experience strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of First Aid, Confined Space Entry, LOTO, Process Safety Management (preferred), and experience delivering classroom instruction.

Certification

  • ASP or CSP certification preferred.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and drive organizational change.

  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations professionally.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail in documentation and communication.

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and relevant industry software.

  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

  • Solid knowledge of State and Federal safety and risk regulations.

  • Effective presentation skills, able to engage and lead groups.

  • Ability to streamline and manage processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and simplify complex tasks.

  • Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to apply logical methods to complex issues.
