About Us Capital Pump & Equipment (CPE) is a leading provider of industrial pump rentals and fluid-handling solutions. The Role We're seeking a Pump Repair Technician to join our Chandler, AZ operations. In this role, you'll ensure pumps are in optimal operating condition at both our Chandler branch and onsite at job sites as needed. You will troubleshoot, diagnose and repair pump malfunctions and complete complex repairs on returned rentals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and ensure the efficient and safe operations of all pump equipment, new or replacement parts.
  • Inspect and repair pumps to ensure efficient operation and proper functioning equipment.
  • Disassemble broken or defective pump equipment to facilitate repair and reassemble when repairs are complete.
  • Perform routine maintenance to all pump equipment.
  • Keep accurate and timely records of equipment movement, installation progress, service schedules, customer interactions, and other paperwork as required for proper documentation of work performed.
  • Clean and test all repaired equipment to ensure operations and appearance are up to company standards.

What You'll Bring
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in pump or equipment repair preferred. Additional training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and pumps preferred.
  • Ability to diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
  • Ability to manage all repairs, maintenance, and test tasks efficiently.
  • Must be able to have professional and comprehensive communication with team members and the Service Manager.
  • Ability to perform work safely using proper power/hand tools.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
