Compensation Range: $125,100.00 - $156,200.00 

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.  

Job Purpose

The Director of National Accounts is responsible for developing and leading national sales and service operations to meet or exceed assigned revenue, bookings, and profitability goals. This role drives a cohesive sales growth strategy, ensures strong customer relationships, and provides leadership that delivers consistent performance across all national accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Exercising discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters within the organization
  • Superior understanding to product lines being sold, pricing, and price negotiation
  • Leading staff on the promotion of products, networking understanding competitor products and activity
  • Hiring, retaining, evaluating, and improving sales leaders and their sales representatives (including personal development plans for each business line sales leader)
  • Working with manufacturing reps and distributors
  • Responsible for territory expansion
  • Creating and implementing sales processes and metrics to ensure the continuous improvement of those processes
  • Direct selling processes; including identification of new customers ad sales channel management
  • Assist in creating and executing sales strategies|maintaining relationships with established customers
  • Profit and loss responsibilities including; sales forecasting, margin tracking, DSO control, managing costs
  • Extensive travel is involved
  • Negotiating Agreements; Communicating Effectively
  • Establishing Relationships
  • Acting Strategically
  • Supporting Organizing Goals
  • Creating and Maintaining Networks
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree with 8 years of experience in sales and management with extensive sales experience
  • Ability to understand and explain technical and electrical related systems
  • Excellent communication skills
