JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering cross-functional initiatives with a primary focus on accounting, finance, and operational processes. This role partners closely with Accounting, Finance, IT, Compliance, and business stakeholders to plan, execute, and implement projects that improve financial accuracy, reporting efficiency, system integration, and operational scalability. Another key function of this role will be managing our New Jersey office location opening in Mid-May of 2026.
The ideal candidate is execution-focused, highly organized, and capable of translating business and financial requirements into structured project plans while driving accountability across stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead end-to-end delivery of projects from intake and planning through execution, implementation, and post-go-live support.
  2. Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to define project scope, objectives, priorities, and success metrics.
  3. Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk logs.
  4. Serve as the primary liaison between Accounting, Finance, IT, Compliance, and other business units.
  5. Drive finance-related initiatives, including system implementations, process improvements, reporting enhancements, and integrations.
  6. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and translate financial and operational needs into clear, actionable project requirements.
  7. Coordinate and manage user acceptance testing (UAT), including validation of financial data accuracy and reporting outputs.
  8. Identify risks, issues, and dependencies early; proactively drive mitigation and escalate when necessary.
  9. Track and report project status, risks, and outcomes to leadership with clear, concise updates.
  10. Maintain project documentation, including timelines, decisions, requirements, and implementation artifacts.
  11. Support change management efforts, including communication planning, training coordination, and adoption readiness.
  12. Ensure alignment between project deliverables and financial controls, compliance requirements, and reporting standards.
  13. Analyze data and reporting outputs to validate project success and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  14. Enforce project governance standards, ensuring consistency, accountability, and execution discipline.
  15. Ensure the Jersey City office remains clean and organized.
  16. Manage seating locations in the Jersey City Office.
  17. Ensure the Jersey City office stays stalked with all necessary equipment.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Experience in project management supporting accounting, finance, or operational functions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive execution to completion.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with data, reporting, and metrics to support decision-making.
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate independently while aligning with leadership direction.
  • Experience supporting system implementations, audits, or process improvement initiatives is a plus
