Job description

Batavia Medical Center RN Heme/Outpatient InfusionAn exciting opportunity to join a community-based oncology practice that is part of a nationally recognized, NCI-designated cancer center. This small practice includes a MD, APP, LPN, Ambulatory Tech, and 3 RNs. The infusion assignment is a mixture of hematology/oncology/monoclonals, and non-oncology referral infusions. A typical infusion assignment is for 8 patients and involves chemotherapy teaching at the chairside. The maximum daily infusion capacity is 24 patients.

Requirements:

2–3 years of recent infusion experience required, outpatient clinic experience highly desiredONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certificationCurrent BLS certification from AHAExperience with Epic EMR and Alaris infusion pumpsAbility to work independently and manage a full patient assignment with minimal supervisionStrong IV/vascular access and port access skillsExcellent communication skills with patients, families, and the oncology care teamCurrent, unencumbered NYS RN licensure
