Job description

WinnCompanies is seeking a motivatedย Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Deerfield Forest Condominiums, a 334 unit condominium complex housing community located in Natick, MA.
ย 
In this role, you will perform maintenance functions in the community, including rental units, residential common areas, office, grounds and parking lots.
ย 
The pay range for this role is $25.00-$28.00 per hour dependent on experience. The selected candidate will also adhere to the following schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM-5:00PM, with rotational on-call one weekend per month.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs in such areas as, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
  • Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures.
  • Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management activities.
  • Be available for on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies based on a pre-determined schedule and need.

Requirements:

  • Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
  • General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, and HVAC.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills assisting residents when needed.
  • Availability for on-call activity during off hours for urgent needs once a month.
  • Ability to speak and understand basic English.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
  • Savvy with mobile devices.
  • Ability to be available for snow removal and driving a plow truck to remove snow on weekends or holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational or technical training.
  • CAMT certification.
  • Proficient with property management software.
