They serve in various healthcare settings, such as hospitals, hospices, and long-term care facilities, offering emotional, spiritual, and sacramental support to patients, families, and staff. NACC Chaplains are trained to address diverse spiritual needs and often collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care. Their certification requires theological education, clinical training, and ongoing professional development.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a NACC Chaplain, and why are they important?

To thrive as a NACC Chaplain, you need a graduate-level theological education, pastoral care training, and certification from the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC).
