Student Pastor Opportunity

Shepherd Staff is honored to be working with Next Level Church in Yorktown, VA, to help them find their next Student Pastor. Next Level Church is a welcoming and energetic church with a clear mission to help people love Jesus, love people, and make a difference. The church has created a highly relational and approachable culture where people feel comfortable being themselves while also experiencing meaningful spiritual growth.

The Student Pastor will provide leadership and direction for the church's Student Ministry, helping middle and high school students grow in their relationship with Jesus through engaging weekly environments, discipleship opportunities, and strong relational connection. This leader will build and develop volunteer teams, partner with parents, and help continue the healthy momentum already present within the ministry.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A strong communicator and relational leader.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and positive.
  • Passionate about discipling and investing in students.
  • Energized by building teams and creating engaging environments.

Position Overview

The Student Pastor will lead a growing and established Student Ministry, creating environments where students feel connected, valued, and challenged in their faith. This role will focus on building leaders, strengthening volunteer culture, and helping students take meaningful next steps spiritually while contributing to the overall mission and culture of Next Level Church.

Responsibilities

  • Provide vision and strategy for Student Ministry.
  • Recruit, train, and care for volunteer teams.
