Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced NDT Level 2 Inspectors for projects located in the Seattle, WA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $35-38/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a NDT Level 2 Inspector and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:        

  • Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
  • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities defects using NDT methods of inspection
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
  • Organize and report test results. Speaks and writes clearly and informatively responds well to question
  • Practices active listening exhibits discretion. Communicates technical findings using industry standard
  • Perform specialized inspections
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
  • Communicates daily with lead about work priorities and progress of project
  • Work closely with level 3 to identify and remove obstacle
  • Actively participate in safety initiatives, incident investigations etc
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience
  • NDT level 2 certification dye penetrant or magnetic particle to national aerospace standard
  • NAS 410 certification required
