Key Responsibilities
  • Patient & Guest Support:ย Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families, greeting them warmly, providing wayfinding assistance, and answering inquiries.
  • Patient Scheduling & Registration:ย Accurately schedule medical appointments, procedures, and tests. Manage patient check-ins and verify demographic and insurance information.
  • Issue Resolution:ย Actively research and resolve telephone and in-person inquiries related to billing, medical records, and scheduling.
  • Administrative Documentation:ย Enter data efficiently into the hospitalโ€™s electronic health records system. Manage MyChart messages and assist with patient portals.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration:ย Coordinate with triage nurses, clinical teams, and billing departments to ensure a smooth patient transition and resolve any roadblocks.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education:ย High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience:ย Minimum ofย 
    ย 
    ย years of customer service or high-volume call center experience. Prior data entry and scheduling experience are highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills:ย Proficiency with computers and hospital software (Epic Beaker or similar EMR systems) is a significant advantage.
  • Soft Skills:ย Outstanding verbal and written communication, a compassionate and empathetic demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment.
