Job description

Our products can be encountered in many everyday applications, such as driving a car, flying in an airplane, using electronics, or shopping at a grocery store. REPORTING TO
Engineering Manager
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Support continuous improvement activities
  • Perform time studies, data analysis, and a variety of other task to support Lean activities and projects
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and computer-based activities
  • Run tests and validate checks on data, equipment, or software
  • Clean, move, and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Assist team with administrative tasks and project documentation
  • Any other engineering or manufacturing tasks as directed by Engineering Manager.

SKILLS and ABILITIES
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be an analytical thinker
  • Knowledge of metal working and manufacturing process
  • Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and related test procedures
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD preferred
  • Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma preferred
  • May require lifting to 50 lbs

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
  • Current enrollment in a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other related major
