Our distribution coverage stretches from the Florida Keys to Texas to Canada, an area that includes all or parts of 27 states and the District of Columbia, as well as much of the Caribbean and Latin America, and part of the European Union and Mediterranean region. From pressure treated fence products, columns, deck specialties, and KDAT products, YellaWood® is the brand of choice for outdoor building.

Summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of YellaWood brand Pressure-Treated Pine is seeking Lumber Taggers / Groundskeepers. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefit package.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Attaches product tag labels to merchandise, material, or product with hand-held industrial stapler machine
  • Stacks/moves lumber pieces
  • Assists in assembling fence panels and other products using a nail gun
  • Checks items for proper identification
  • Reports quality deficiencies, shortages, and/or damaged goods
  • Keeps record of inventory and checks items for proper identification
  • Maintains housekeeping requirements throughout facility
  • Other duties: painting, striping, trimming grass/weeds, emptying trash bins & hoppers, etc.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous production experience preferred
  • Lumber experience is a plus!
