Job description

Overview
Kimley-Horn's Denver, CO office is seeking an MV Collection System Engineer to support fast-paced, developer-driven renewable generation and BESS projects.
Responsibilities
  • Design MV collection systems including feeder layouts, routing, and voltage drop
  • Develop and redline site layouts, one-lines, and schematic diagrams
  • Perform supporting electrical studies such as load flow and voltage drop
  • Coordinate closely with civil teams on trenching and duct bank design
  • Support utility interconnection reviews while maintaining developer schedules
  • Provide rapid engineering support during construction and commissioning

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 4+ years of MV power system or renewable energy design experience
  • Strong ability to provide redlines and technical direction
  • Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, and utility standards

Salary Range:
  • $99,000 - $130,000
  • Eligible for Performance Based Bonus Compensation
