Job description

EXPLEO GROUP USA is currently looking for an EWIS Industrialization / Manufacturing Engineer

 to join our team for an exciting new opportunity in Little Rock, Arkansas.

The Wiring Industrialization Engineer (EWIS) will support onsite aerospace production by ensuring aircraft wiring systems are producible, compliant, and productionready. This role bridges design, manufacturing, quality, and MRB, providing handson shopfloor support while ensuring EWIS compliance, safety, and airworthiness under production conditions.

Responsibilities:

EWIS Industrialization & Production Readiness

  • Support the industrialization of aircraft wiring systems, including harnesses, connectors, splices, clamps, back shells, and protective hardware
  • Ensure wiring designs are producible, installable, and compliant with industry and customer wiring standards
  • Support transition from design release to production by identifying installation risks and driving corrective actions

Shop Floor & MRB Support (WiringFocused)

  • Provide onsite engineering support for production and installation issues related to aircraft wiring systems
  • Support MRB activities related to:
  • Wire insulation damage
  • Harness deviations
  • Connector, termination, or shielding issues
  • Routing, separation, and protection nonconformances
  • Define acceptable rework and repair solutions while maintaining EWIS compliance

EWIS Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure compliance with applicable FAA/EASA EWIS requirements and internal wiring procedures
  • Support adherence to SAE AS50881 and equivalent wiring installation standards
  • Review and validate wiring changes for safety, flammability, and continued airworthiness

CrossFunctional Coordination

  • Interface with:
  • Electrical Design Engineering
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Quality and MRB teams
  • Production and installation personnel
  • Support wiringrelated engineering changes, deviations, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Compile and generate progress reports to convey deliverable objectives
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and sense of urgency in supporting production needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years supporting aircraft wiring/EWIS in an aerospace OEM or production environment
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Aircraft wiring systems and installations
  • Harness manufacturing and installation practices
  • EWIS regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Experience in industrialization, production support, or MRBadjacent roles
  • Familiarity with wiring diagrams, EWIS drawings, and aircraft installation manuals
  • Experience working in an embedded engineering services role is preferred
  • Handson exposure to shopfloor wiring installation and integration is highly desirable
