Floyd, Clark, Harrison, Jefferson, Scott, & Washington Counties in Indiana

Pay: $57.15–$60.51/hour


Achieve ABA+ is seeking a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary environment supporting clients through evidence-based, goal-oriented music therapy services.


About the Role

As a contract Music Therapist, you will provide individualized and/or group music therapy sessions designed to support communication, emotional regulation, social skills, and overall client well-being.


Key Responsibilities

· Provide music therapy services to clients in alignment with individualized treatment goals

· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (e.g., ABA therapists, BCBAs, caregivers)

· Develop and implement treatment plans using evidence-based interventions

· Maintain timely and accurate documentation (session notes, progress reports)

· Adapt sessions to meet varying client needs and abilities


Population Served

You can choose your preferred age range while serving those on the Medicaid Waiver


Position Details

· Contract (1099) position

· Flexible scheduling based on availability

· In-person services (update if hybrid/remote)


Compensation & Benefits

Qualifications


· Board Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC)

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy

· Experience working with pediatric or neurodivergent populations preferred

· Strong communication and collaboration skills

· Ability to work independently as a contractor

· Must hold auto insurance

· Access to electronic devices with access to internet

· Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security standards


  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Reliable transportation to and from clients location
  • Active Auto Insurance with Proper Coverage as recommended by an insurance agent for the driving incurred for this position
  • Clean background check
  • Must not be excluded from receiving federal payments for providing healthcare services and consent to searches of the Office of Inspector General List of Excluded Individuals and Entities database monthly
  • Must not be excluded from federal healthcare programs and consent to searches of System for Award Management (SAM)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Access to electronic devices with access to internet
  • Experience working with individuals (children and/or adults) with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or Autism
  • Experience working as a Music Therapist preferred
  • Familiarity working with an electronic health/medical record system (EHR/EMR)
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security standards
