Description
This position will create a framework for analyzing an open-source Digital Historic Newspapers Database.
Examples of Duties
  • Create an app to search for terms related to an ongoing research project
  • Provide a searchable framework for a musicologist working with newspaper data
  • Assist with the preparation of scholarly publications, conference presentations, and project reports
  • Assist faculty with training materials
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently admitted to the graduate degree program in Data Science at NCF
  • Music undergraduate major

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience engaging digital historical newspapers
  • Understanding of musicology as a discipline
