The School of Music at Ball State University invites applications for ongoing part-time semester instructor appointments to teach coursework in an on-campus environment. What you'll do and what you'll bring:

Position Description:

This is a part time semester instructor position in an on campus environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary assignment will initially include teaching coursework in music education, music history, music theory/composition, or music technology.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of the School of Music.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completed master's degree and a documented history of professional activity in the area of assignment.

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain quality students on the collegiate level, exceptional creative/scholarly background.
